Consent Given/Transaction Processing

We may disclose personal information about you to third parties with your consent. Consent is sometimes implicit, as in the disclosure of personal information to third-parties who complete transactions or perform services on our behalf.

To the Primary Account Holder

The primary account holder (party financially responsible for the account) is obliged to inform all wireless device users (either regular, casual or one time user) about the application installed to its equipment and its ability to track the user. If primary account holder is employer of the user, or a formal representative of the user’s employer; the primary account holder has no right to access user’s statistics and tracks if they cover employee’s non working time. However he can require from the employee to print or copy his tracks records related to the working period.

This solution is not designed and neither can be used for unauthorized people tracking. Any attempt for unauthorized tracking will lead to primary and secondary account cancellation and termination of the services ordered by primary account holder. The termination of Slash Idea services might be permanent and no representative of the entity whose account has been cancelled for such reason has right to enforce Slash Idea to reactivate the account. If the application is intently used for such illegal activity, Slash Idea can provide collected information to the police or legal representatives in order to inflict sanctions to the person responsible for this activity.

The solution is not designed and dedicated for tracking of people who are not informed they are tracked (e.g. police suspect tracking, private detective activities, espionage etc.). If any of these activities will happen, Slash Idea will terminate all services provided to entity represented by primary account holder, and will provide none of the collected data. The entity can require collected data only by contacting legal authorities of the country where Slash Idea’s headquarter is based, and the data will be delivered based on local court or police order in compliance with international protection of human rights. In this case Slash Idea does not guarantee, it will store the gathered data any more. Slash Idea can terminate the service (even permanently) to any entity that is suspected of tracking people who are not informed they are tracked.

We may disclose personal information of an account user to the primary account holder, especially if lost or forgotten passwords or login details. The primary account holder is then responsible to any information usage according to local legislation and laws.

Third Party Services or Third Party Service Providers

If you take advantage of a third party's services or products offered through the use of our Services, we may disclose your personal information to such unaffiliated third parties. These entities may use this information that you provide in the course of your use of Slash Idea's services (including your nicknames, name, telephone numbers, email and mailing addresses) to promote their products and services to you. Any such personal information that a third party uses will be subject to their applicable privacy policies.

Some of our Services and functionality are provided in conjunction with third party service providers. These third party service providers process personal information on our behalf and are obligated to process such information in compliance with this privacy policy and other appropriate security and confidentiality measures.

We may comply with police departments, court orders or other legal processes for any of the information about you in our possession, and we may use such information to establish or exercise yours, ours, or others' legal rights, or to defend against legal claims.

Business Transfers

Information about you in our possession may be disclosed as part of any merger, acquisition, sale of company assets, or transition of service to another provider, as well as in the unlikely event of insolvency, bankruptcy, or receivership in which your personal information would be transferred as one of the business assets of the company. Slash Idea does not guarantee that any entity receiving such information in connection with one of these transactions will comply with all terms of this policy. But if this unlikely situation occurs, Slash Idea will carry out maximum effort to bind new owner with duty to inform users about possible changes a reasonable time before the Privacy Policy would be changed.

By allowing Slash Idea to collect this information about you, you consent to these transfers, including transborder transmission of data covered by this privacy policy. As a result, that country's courts, governments or law enforcement agencies could obtain disclosure of such information under that country's laws. The term “affiliated companies” also covers our partners who provide us cloud or hosting services.

Security and Retention of Your Information

Slash Idea has implemented various physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to protect the confidentiality and security of personal information under our control. For instance, Slash Idea limits access to Slash Idea systems that store such information to authorized personnel. MyCarTracks also employs the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol to protect your personal information on our website.

While Slash Idea maintains a multitude of security measures to prevent unauthorized access to or disclosure of your personal information, no security measures are absolute or wholly guaranteed. Slash Idea will make reasonable attempts to notify you if it determines there were unauthorized acts by third parties that violate the law or this policy, or other security breaches, or where otherwise required by law.

Slash Idea will maintain your personal information for as long as a business need exists, or as required by applicable laws, regulations, or government orders. When we dispose of personal information, we use commercially reasonable procedures to erase or render it unreadable. If you no longer want Slash Idea to use your information to provide you with the Services, you may close your account and Slash Idea will delete the information it holds about you unless we need to retain and use your information to comply with our legal obligations, to resolve disputes, to enforce our agreements or as otherwise permitted by law.

To protect your privacy and security, Slash Idea will take reasonable steps to verify your identity before providing you access or making corrections. Good faith efforts to resolve requests to correct inaccuracies in personal information will be made by Slash Idea, except where the request is unreasonable. As stated in this privacy policy, Slash Idea will not sell or share your personal information with third parties for their direct marketing purposes without your consent. Customers who wish to request further information about our compliance with this law or have questions or concerns about our privacy practices and policies may contact us at or write to: Slash Idea s.r.o., Mochovská 38, Levice 934 05, Slovak republic, Europe.

Changes to this Policy

Slash Idea may from time to time update this privacy policy, and we encourage you to periodically review this privacy policy to be informed of the latest changes. In the event that Slash Idea merges with, or is acquired by another company, a change to this privacy policy may result. We transfer, process and store your information outside of your country of residence, to wherever we or our third-party service providers operate for the purpose of providing you the Services. Whenever we transfer your information, we take steps to protect it. We make use of standard contractual data protection clauses, which have been approved by the European Commission.

How to access and control your information

You have the right to request a copy of your information, to object to our use of your information (including for marketing purposes), to request the deletion or restriction of your information, or to request your information in a structured, electronic format. Below, we describe the tools and processes for making these requests. You can exercise some of the choices by logging into your web account and using settings available within the account. For all other requests, you may contact us as provided in the Contact Information section below to request assistance.

Your request and choices may be limited in certain cases: for example, if fulfilling your request would reveal information about another person, or if you ask to delete information which we or your administrator are permitted by law or have compelling legitimate interests to keep. If you have unresolved concerns, you may have the right to complain to a data protection authority in the country where you live, where you work or where you feel your rights were infringed.
